Messy finance inputs.
Model-ready numbers.
I built and published numbr. It is a public Python library that anyone can install and use in their own workflows.
Install numbr from PyPIpython -m pip install numbrNormalize payment terms, budget assumptions and period labels before they reach a spreadsheet or financial model. Try the example below: different number formats become usable values and an expected collection date.
From mixed inputs to a cash plan.
Review a small finance import. numbr converts the source values; the surrounding Python checks each field’s allowed values and uses payment terms to project a receipt date.
| Field | Source → model value | Review |
|---|
What I built: numbr detects and converts numeric representations. Finance application: this Python demo supplies the field meanings, checks their ranges and calculates a calendar-day receipt date. The invoice date sets the example’s forecast year.

Roman numerals support whole numbers from 1 to 3999. Examples outside that range are disabled.
import numbr
numbr.Cast("forty-two", "Cardinal Number")Roman output supports integers 1–3999. Unsupported inputs and conversions return the package's feedback.
